Interview with our ambassador Reda Maimouni.

Hi Reda, can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Reda, I'm 26 years old and I've been living in Brussels all my life. I have a Master's degree in Finance and Science, nothing to do with sports! I am currently a Dutch and English teacher which allows me to do what I love and have time on the side to practice my sports activities.

What sports activities do you practice?

I do weight training and crossfit. I particularly like powerlifting: weight training with a focus on physical performance, so we work with quite heavy weights.

What is your typical day as an athlete?

I have a simple lifestyle, quite different from other athletes. I try to live a normal, healthy life while trying to build a muscular body. After I get up I eat a balanced breakfast. I count my calories every day, I know my diet and nutrition by heart! I have 5 to 6 well balanced and calculated meals a day. Around 9pm I leave for training, it is my escape from the stress accumulated during the day, it allows me to decompress a maximum
